Oh you beautiful Dawn Doll

A lot of you commented that you remember Dawn dolls so I thought I would show you my little collection.

The tiny little fashion dolls of the 1970's.  I loved them.

I loved Dawn's long hair, her eyelashes, and she even had a boyfriend named Gary (remember him)? Dig that groovy shirt.

I love to find the vintage fashion booklets because they give me a clue to the outfits that were available and the names of them too.

Oh Gary you are so outnumbered here -
You lucky guy!

I don't think he minds at all.

Sweet collection. I had a few dawn dolls inthe 70's too. Those were the days weren't they? I played with barbies mostly... I wish I had all my old dolls... I think my sisters played with them when I didn't care anymore and then they probably got tossed.. too bad! Enjoy your weekend!

I was a child of the 70s, but may have been too young for these. I fondly remember the Sunshine Family!

SQUEAL! I'm bringing my Dawn Doll carrying case over and we'll play. I've still not found Gary, but I've been slowing recreating my childhood collection of Dawn Dolls.

You've almost made them come to life. Lucky Gary!

I don't think I've ever seen a Dawn doll in my life. Isn't that strange? I attended an estate sale on Friday morning (worst sale I've ever been to) and the ONLY interesting item was a Mrs. Beasley doll, but it had an astronomical price tag attached. I didn't spend a penny.

Yep, I had few Dawn dolls and the carrying case. They seemed much more "hip" than that Barbie girl back then. I don't even remember Gary though. Maybe it's before I was into boys!

Great collection. I had a Dawn and the red head-- what was her name? But their legs turned green years later! Eww. So I tossed them. Some guy at an estate sale once told me that is normal for them. Hmm. Still have their clothes which I posted a few Mondays ago.

If you and Kim play Dawn dolls can I come too? I still have my Dawn doll and a few clothes, and I have Gary but he is "nekkid" I had a "Longlocks" that was part of the Dawn family, but my sister cut her hair! I still haven't forgiven her for that!

Blessings

Now you have me racking my name for the dolls that were my favorites as a child. My sister and I had many of them and they are still in my mother's wonderful doll collection.

The Mellow Yellow bakelite flatware is amazing!
