Kiddling

Just when I thought there wasn't anything to be found at the thrift store I spied this...

It was pure joy for me.  A piece of my childhood.  A bit of happiness.  Teeny tiny little dolls called Liddle Kiddles. Eight little vintage Kiddle dolls snuggled in an original Kiddle case - whoopie!  This called for getting out my childhood Liddle Kiddle pop up Boutique.  I just felt like playing.

This little rocking horse was included in the case and is marked liddle kiddle.  It must of been part of a set.  I was thrilled to get it along with the balloon.

I couldn't believe the condition some of these little dolls were in.  I was happy to see that this gal still had both of her slippers.

Do you ever search for some of your childhood toys online?  Oh my the prices some of them are fetching.  I guess there is a price for sentimental memories.  Good thing for me this one was a bargain.

Sweet little find and they surely went to the right home, where they will be cherished and played with, from time to time.

Eeeek! Do you know how many hours my sister and I spent playing with our Liddle Kiddles?! We had a small house and that very same rocking horse! I picked up a L.K. in the antique shop a few weeks ago and I was transported back to my childhood. I guess I've always liked tiny treasures. Wonderful find, Danielle!

No way! Obviously someone took such good care of them all those years! Or maybe they got tucked away at Grandmas house and forgotten. hmmm. Anyway, I'm so glad that YOU found them! You'll appreciate and treasure them!
Boy they're cute!

I never use this phrase, but OMG!! What a find! Love 'em. Plus a case?? They're worth a pretty penny too. If I found that, I think I'd give up thrifting because I'd never top it. Congrats!

Wowzie!!! What an amazing score! I would have been giddy too. They are just so darling and colorful. The little dolls of today just aren't the same are they? I worked in the toy industry for years and saw many come and go but the dolls from years gone by are still my favorites.
Have a lovely day.

Soo sweet! Very nicely kept, some little girl has looked after her toys. I would love to find a brio dolls house with the Arne Jacobsen miniature lounge set intact, for a price l could afford. Loved that dollshouse :-)! Blessings, Pam xx

How lovely - are these related to Dolly Darlings? Those were my special, special little dolls that I would save and save up for to buy one. I kept them in a old vanity case and when our mum finally had to leave our old house my brother kindly burnt them on a bonfire..........I am stilling for them.............
Have a lovely weekend
Best wishes

It's just something about finding things that remind you of your childhood!!!!!
And even more exciting if its something you actually had!!!!!
I didn't have those cute little things, but I had the "Dawn dolls" and her friends, a cute little carrying case, plastic like that, and all her accessories!
I probably would be beyond myself if I found some "Dawn" stuff ! ;)
