Hearts in The Rain

We've had so much rain here lately and I'm loving it.  The rain has turned to snow now and it is beautiful.  I don't think we are going to get much snow though.

Something that you do not see much here in Arizona is this ..... moss!  It sure reminds me of Oregon. Do you see what I see?  Look closely among all the textures of the leaves and the rocks.

Did you see the hearts?

Isn't nature beautiful?
What gorgeous gifts. I feel that God has hugged me today.
What are you up to?

Vintage Valentine Hanky Collection

Hello there.  How are you?  I've missed you all.  Feeling lots better.  I've been getting out the valentine hearts.

These are all vintage hankies.  The graphics on these are all so sweet.  Little hearts and flowers, bows and butterflies.

Some are embroidered.

They are all so much fun to
find and collect.

This kinda reminds me of a kaleidoscope.  A hanky kaleidoscope.
Oooh I like the sound of that.

I never met a valentine hanky I didn't love.

The Newest Little Javelina

There is a new little addition to one of the local neighborhood javelina families.  See that little bitty one at the far right?  Aww.... They are so cute and tiny.  It is so unusual for them to have a newborn in the winter time.  It was squealing while running and playing in the sunshine.

I snapped these photos today.  I was hoping to get some of the newborn so I could share them with you.  Enjoy.

I have not been feeling too good lately.  Back to blogging soon.

Memories of Crissy

I remember her long flowing red hair.  Her beautiful delicate orange lace mini dress.

Her long flirty eyelashes and pretty smile.
Her name was Crissy.
I received her for a Christmas present sometime in the mid 1970's and then
(those of you that thrift will totally get this)

On a shelf in Goodwill saying (in a wee little dollie voice) "take me home please".

Oh the memories.

Just look at that sweet face.

Ok, I will take you home Miss Crissy -you beautiful doll.
The best part?  Her hair still grows!
Remember the knob on her back that turns so you can make her hair short or long?
Am I dating myself?
Ha! I know, and I don't care.  Wanna come over and play?
I still have my Velvet (her little sister).
