No "L"

In search of more pixies or pixies in search of me - it's hard to say.  I spied these darling little vintage mugs at the thrift.  First the O, then the N, then the E.  Obviously, it was to spell NOEL.   None of these mugs were displayed together.  It was like a treasure hunt looking for them.  I thought for sure that there was no L to be found but I kept searching all the while my husband thought it was quite funny singing "noel, noel" (no L, no L).  Well I finally found the elusive pixie mug with the L hiding high on the dusty top shelf.  The box on top of the mugs is the side of an ornament box.  I thought the graphics were darling.  There is even a little pixie here.  I would have bought the box even if it were empty but it had beautiful ornaments inside and only .99 cents.  It made me happy to find it.

They are a pixie family together once more.

I was sick for a couple of weeks but am feeling so much better now but I lost some time in getting some things done.
I still have so much to do before Christmas.  How are you doing?

"noel" was so popular, back in the day!!

again, i see stuff i have, but don't consider it to be vintage. it's just "my stuff" that i have had for years. i am starting to get scared!!

once i saw my mixing bowls, in one of your posts about thrift store finds.....i thought wow, am i really that old ;)

I love everything you found! That is indeed one of the prettiest boxes ever! And I found 2 of the elf mugs last week and kept the O. I gave the E to a friend. I thought they probably spelled NOEL but now I know for sure! How neat! Holiday hugs!

Leave it to you to find the entire Pixie "mug" family. I think I would have gone on a store-wide hunt and search too. They needed to be rescued. Love your shopping cart vignette too. I'm close to being done with Christmas shopping but not a single thing has been wrapped. Hopefully, I can remember where I stashed all the gifts!

Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling so good...
Darling NOEL mug set! I always wonder, why can't things that belong together, stay together at thrift stores!
Merry Christmas!

It looks like jolly old Santa's a thrifter, too, Danielle! He seems to have traded in his sleigh for a much more practical shopping cart. I thought the characters on the box were real and I was going to ask you about the cute little mice! Funny story about your No L mugs! I've got a set of 4 little children in their jammies holding Noel letters that are candleholders. I've just caught the nasty bug going around and haven't the time to be sick!!!

Thanks for sharing your fun finds!

That Santa looks like one I passed up last year, did you swoop in and get it? My hubby said he'd get it for me, but I felt so guilty, so I passed on it........so silly. If it's the one, at least I know he found a good home.

Hugs,
Meri
