As summer winds down I enjoy the last bits. A lone hummingbird drinks in the sweetness.
Beauty shines brightly
in the little jewels
of the garden.
As I sit quietly and observe, this little lizard darts across the path. I wonder if this little creature realizes that soon the weather will turn cold so he must enjoy the sun while he can.
The last roses of the summer cast an intoxicating scent and their velvety leaves beckon me to come closer.
As summer whispers good bye, I savor all the beauty that God has put before me today.
