Is the snow falling where you live?
Oh the weather outside is frightful.
But the fire is so delightful.
And since we've no place to go.
Let it snow.
Let it snow.
Let it snow.
We recently had a taste of the white stuff. I know some of the country has had a bit more than a a taste.
Do you love it?
Do you not?
Those of you that have snow, how many of you actually make snow angels or snowmen?
Of the two which are your favorite?
Fess up..
I'm just curious.
Things have been busy busy around here. Last few days before Christmas. I am checking off all the last minute things.
Thank you Meri so much for the
delightful wreath. I love it so.
blessings,
Danielle

My son loves to build snow forts, so he can have a good oldfashioned snowball fight with his dad or cousins. :-) We'll need a little more snow that what we got last night, though.
What a charming wreath! We had a couple of inches of snow here...on top of what we received a couple of weeks ago, it will definitely be a white Christmas! I love winter, and lots of snow!
Where I have lived for over 35 years it has snowed around three times and it never stuck. So as you can imagine - I love snow.... or at least the idea of it. I would definitely play in it ALOT!
Merry Christmas!
Hi Danielle.
Your blog banner is so pretty!
No snow here just lots of rain and high winds.
We are almost ready for Christmas ~ I just have to wrap gifts.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Sharon
Oh so you are the lucky one that got the blue wreath! I had such a good time taking photos as Meri made this one...:) Enjoy and Merry Christmas! Sandy
I woke up to snow this morning ... a happy surprise, since the forecast called for rain. I vote for snowmen. (I was never a fan of all that snow going up my sleeves and down my neck making a snow angel!)
We had such a wonderful time up there, I'm just so sorry we didn't get to meet in person. I love meeting new people, especially those that I visit through blogland. I hope I wasn't too much of a pest, I can be a bit overwhelming in my excitement. I'm trying to figure out why my pain issues seemed nonexistent while I was there. After coming back home I had to stay in bed for a couple of days due to all the activity. Maybe it's a sign that I'm supposed to live there.......;o)
I hope the wreath brings you many years of smiles.
Happy Holidays,
Meri
We got a little snow over night, only about an inch...I was hoping for way more! I like being snowed in, and all cozy inside and of course going out and playing in the snow is fun too! My sister and I use to spend hours outside playing in it, building forts, and riding our horses around in it....so much fun! I like building snowmen :) Have a cozy day by the fire!! :) xo Holly
So cute!!!!!
And... one of my favorite Christmas songs!!! I'm a romantic at heart and as a young girl I always thought this was romantic Christmas song!!!
I lived in the mountains in Truckee, CA for almost 20 years so I've had my fill of snow. LOL
Beautiful wreath!!
I would have to vote for snowmen because they last longer, sometimes even after the green grass is showing again. Snow angels are pretty for a few minutes and then someone always forgets and steps on it. Fleeting.
Did you win that wreath?! So cute! For the first time, we did not get snow in December. When we do get it, the kids prefer to make snow men because they don't like getting wet when making snow angels :)

i love snow, i love a good storm!!
we had plenty in early november, none now and i am fine with that!!
i have not made a snowman in years but when my boys were little, we made one everytime it snowed!!
We always make both...and I guess I love the good old snowman because it reminds me of Frosty the Snowman which just fascinated me when I was a kid- xo Diana
It's been a winter wonderland in MN this December! I haven't made a snowman or snow angel, but as a group of us left work in the dark tonight, we couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the snow glittering in the night. I love snow! And I love your cute little wreath, too!
I hope you have a fun weekend tying up all the loose ends. Merry Christmas, Danielle!
Hi dear friend.....I've never made a snow angel.....Sooooo....I ask you am I too old to try?? LOL LOL

Hi Danielle,
Snowmen for me! Although snow angels are less complicated. :)
Having grown up in the Northeast, I totally miss the snow, now that we live in sunny Texas. Christmas time is just not the same. So, hope you enjoy your white dusting, and that you have a very Merry Christmas.
Maureen
I love snow but we don't get a lot out here on the Plains of West Texas.
We love building snowmen....
Have a wonderful Christmas...

Hello Danielle :-) l love snow and we have been making snow men and snow angels here. Just keeps coming and coming so now we are taking it off the roofs instead. A snow storm today, so it is frightful outside...but delightful inside ;-). A very merry and blessed Christmas, blessings Pam
NOPE!! It's bitter cold though..
Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Love all your Xmas decor ;)

Love your new wreath. No snow, but a ton of rain.
Merry Christmas Danielle!

I've been in FL for 20 years - have not seen snow in a long time! That's why I love snowmen figurines. That and reindeer are my favorite! I don't miss snow, I don't want to deal w/ the icy cold anymore. I'm happy in sunny FL!
no snow here...but tons of rain! got a "shower" just going out and shopping for groceries. wind and sideways rain...not my favorite, but i love it still the same.
danielle, i have been reading your december posts and have to tell you that i love all of your vintage Christmas! i have the same small plastic nativity piece and similar santas like yours. some of my favorites are the old mugs. so happy and they just make me smile, like i know they do you.
wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas!

Have a Blessed Christmas, love Heidi
Dear Danielle,
Thought of you when I looked at my Christmas pins. It's what we first met that drew us together as bloggy friends!
May your Christmas season be the brightest, may our Lord shower you with His glory, may your new year be filled with good cheer and every thing good.
God bless you, dear friend!
Donna
I love snow, and angels. But sadly I live in FLA so I only see it when I travel. Maybe that's why I think it's so wonderful!
Wishing you a happy and blessed new year.
Hugs,
Patti
