It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

The dollies are doning their Santa hats and angel wings.

Bits of the old come out.  I can't help but wonder if when these things were brand new, if there was an excitement getting them out of storage and bringing them out amongst the most favorite decorations.

I so enjoy getting these things out.  They make me smile.

I find such charm in vintage Christmas items.   They remind me of a childhood innocence full of magic and believing in Santa Claus.

This little gal is gathering up her snow balls.  Snow is predicted here this weekend.  I won't be making snow balls though.  I'll be warm and toasty with a fire going in the fireplace.  Is it snowing where you live?

More of my holiday decorating to come.

Danielle, you have such a knack for creating the sweetest vignettes! It would never occur to me to display the ornaments in the boxes and it looks so pretty.

Danielle, I just looked at this post and the other December posts. You have so many neat old ornaments. I had some shiny brites from my grandma but sold them when I was younger and didn't appreciate them. I love the dolls and the Christmas decor too.

You have such a beautiful collection of old decorations. I remember so many of them fro when I was growing up. Thanks for the memories. Enjoy. Our weather is supposed to be cold but who knows here in Florida. We have had very muggy and humid days. Ana

Such pretty Christmas decorations. I love all the dolls. The vintage Santas are so cute too. No snow here in Texas, but at least it has gotten cold-so we can pretend!

Merry Christmas, Danielle!
How I have enjoyed your wonderful post. You have so many charming vintage decorations. I, especially, love your tiny nativity. I have a little one that I got in Hawaii many years ago and I'm reminded that I need to photography it and post it on my blog.
I so appreciate your genuine expressions of faith. Our hurting world needs more people like you, my sweet friend!
Blessings!
