I'm decking the halls, the tree, and of course the mantle.
This piece sort of reminded me of a tree so I tried it out on my mantle. It is an antique candelabra. If I can find some white short candles I may add them in.
This Holy family figure is new to me this year. I love to always include the reason for the season among my Christmas decorating. It is a reminder of love joy and peace as we wait for the coming of His birth.
This little brass angel candle holder is so special to our family. When our children were little we would light the candles and the angels would "spin" with the heat from the lit candles. Tiny little bells would ring as the angels spin around.
May you find JOY in the anticipation.

Oh, I love the spinning angle candle holder! That is brilliant. It reminds me of Miracle on 34th Street where they talk about an angel receiving his wings everytime a bell rings!
We had those same angel chimes growing up and can still hear the little "ting, ting" as they spun around and the dangling bars hit the bells. Love the mantle.
I love it all!
Danielle, that candelabra makes such a pretty and creative "tree" for your mantle! I'm always in awe of people like you who can think up new and unexpected uses for ordinary things. One of the reasons I love blogland so much. I also love those little decorations that spin in the heat from the flame of candles. One of my best friends has a wooden nativity similar to that.
Lovely mantel Danielle! I love all your sweet touches! Love the candlebra with those vintage ornaments on it!! Your little angel is too sweet too! Happy decorating and creating! xo Holly
I love your Christmas decor and your tree....it all looks so festive and pretty!
That candleabra is perfect and I will have my eye out for one. The tree I came up with for my pink ornaments last year was okay but still not right. Something like this would would be perfect, I think. And I needed another reason to visit the thrift stores. 8+)
Danielle~It looks gorgeous. I love the candelabra turned "tree". it is wonderful. I think short white candles would look great. We had one of those brass angel things, too, when our kids were little-it was from my childhood- xo Diana
Ha...we had those chimes as well and I must tell you how much my mother hated when we tried to spin them by hand...love love love that candelabra...smiles..Renee
