Our town kicked off the holiday season with a Christmas light parade. Cars, floats, people and animals covered with colored lights.
It was colorful.
It was magical.
I felt like a kid
mesmerized by the beauty
of a Lite Brite.
Remember those?

Ps, and I have to tell you that I LOVE your new header photo with all the christmas tree pins! I collect those, too.
What a fabulous evening parade! Ours will be held next week, but with the cold weather, we only have a few floats and the band. It's still fun to bundle up and join in the festivities.
I spent many hours creating lite brite masterpieces with our girls. :@
Oh what fun it must have been! I have never been to parade in the evening that didn't include a mouse.

Yes, I remember Lite Brites. Your parade reminds me of the Main Street Electrical Parade in Disneyland. It is magical!I bet that was fun.
My kids have the new Lite Brites and they are so cool. Parades definitely bring out the kid in me and get me all excited for the arrival of Santa :)
