Tea Party Delight

Hello.
What'cha up to?

Today something special came in the mail.  Shannon sent me these wonderful (and very delicious) cookies.

So I decided to make it a bit special and I had
a little tea party.
  Just me, myself, and I.
I set the table with pretty china
and a lovely tablecloth,

and of course a favorite new magazine to look at while I enjoyed my tea and cookies.

Sometimes it feels so good to be nice to yourself.

It makes everything seem that much more special.
Thank you Shannon for the Kukee's (cookies).
I hope you go visit Shannon (here).
She has a lovely blog.

I wish you joy today.

xo,
Danielle

Very sweet post. Love how you set up the table just for yourself. I won't do that. I will if guest come over but not for myself. Maybe I should try spoiling myself that way. I do have all the time in the world. I am a stay at home wife now since the kids are away at college.
Love the sign. TFS. Ana

Hi Danielle! Thanks for letting me know your cookies arrived. Looks like you are enjoying them just as much as my family did. I appreciate the shout out about my blog too. Romantic Country is my favorite magazine, so I'm always happy to sit down and enjoy my newest one too. Have a great night!

A hot cup of tea (or coffee in my case) some goodies and a new magazine are the perfect way to pamper yourself! Enjoy!
