On the other side of my kitchen is this green cupboard. It is currently used to hold my vintage collection of Pyrex.
Do you like Pyrex? I have always thought some of the vintage patterns hold a certain charm.
Here is my collection.
On the top of my hutch there is a vintage pastry display. You can almost imagine it on the diner counter displaying pie slices or pieces of chocolate cake. I use it to display some of my vintage dishtowels.
This tiny little couple dances happily atop my petite vintage scale.
What makes me happier than finding a new piece to add to my collection?
Being able to use and enjoy my pieces everyday.
What do you collect?

Danielle, your kitchen is amazing! I loved the photos in this post and the last. Your chandelier was a brilliant idea too. I'm loving all this inspiration.
Hugs!
Nancy
Oh Danielle, you have a wonderful collection of Pyrex! My Mom had the set with the graduated bowls in yellow, green and orange. I think there was one more but can't think of it. I wish I had that set today.
Your pie holder filled with vintage towels is perfect! So creative. This was so much fun!
Your Pyrex collection is the best I've seen. How proud you must be!!! I love the pastry display, too, and the way you show off your vintage linens!!!
You have so many fun pieces! Of course the green cupboard. And the pie case! You find the most unusual things and display them so creatively!
Love everything about your cupboard. The little dancing figures are perfect!
Your collections, the color and how you display them makes my heart sing!! I just love it all! I know you must have a big ole' smile on your face when you see it all!
What a great collection of Pyrex. Love that pinky-peach color.
Hi Danielle... all of your pyrex is so pretty!... I have quite a bit of it myself... but guess what, it was given to me as wedding gifts years ago!... and we use it everyday still... I am older than you, so it is hard for me to picture it as vintage, but of course it is!... just love your whole kitchen!... xoxo Julie Marie

Danielle- WOW! You have quite a collection of Pyrex. I'll bet you have been collecting for a long time.
I think you know that we are cleaning out the contents of our fried's home that passed away. Anyway, he did not have much of anything and I am packing everything up and taking it the local Help My People group. But, there is one large PALE YELLOW Pyrex bowl that I set aside to take home. I THINK my Mom had one like this and there was an orange one in the set, too..and maybe a green one? Anyway, it is just a cheery piece and it is now in my kitchen and is perfect for Spring.
Hope you have a good week- xo Diana
The Pyrex displayed as a collection is powerful and pretty. I look for it where ever I travel and thrift shop.
Lovely collection of Pyrex. The green set was popular when I first got married. I had the Corelle dishes to match :)
So fun stopping by to visit with you!
Kindly, Lorraine

The green cabinet really shows it off great
I like the pastry display , I have never run across one of those it is so cute with what you have in it, all the 50's colors
Your collection is amazing....
What a pretty and colorful collection you have! My mom has a few of those pieces :)
I, too, love pyrex. I don't really display any since it doesn't really go with my kitchen. One of my favorite pieces is pink flamingo bowl I found at a yard sale! Also, great job for in displaying the vintage towels!
I love your display. What did you put in the bowls? I love the way they are stacked to see every color. My mom has the brown & white pyreX mixing bowls. My aunt has the bright yellow. My grandmother had the set with the Yellow, blur , red & green bowls. Some day they will be mine.
What is it about dishes and mixing bowls that makes us so happy!
Love your site. have a blessed day.

Hi Danielle, you have a lovely blog! I love your tea cup chandelier and what a beautiful kitchen you have! I have so enjoyed my visit and have become one of your newest followers. Hope you have had a wonderful day, Gail
You have an amazing collection of vintage Pyrex. I have two sets from before I was married. They are the sturdiest bowls I've ever seen. Love mine too.
Hugs Lynn

I heart pyrex too! Nice to find a kindred spirit. I'm your newest follower!
Pure joy....I have started collecting only pink and turquoise pryex..so I spy some pretty ones that would make my collection happy. I love your sweet collection and how you have them all displayed on a pretty cupboard. Mine are in my pantry...and take up 3 shelves...but can't be seen unless you are in there. I sometimes just open the door and gaze at them all...so silly but they do make me happy. I am finding more and more at thrift shops and when I can pick up a piece for only a few dollars I am sooooo delighted. Thank you for sharing your collection.
Happy hunting. xoxoxo
Followed over from Very Merry Vintage Style because I saw your Pyrex collectin and just had to check it out. I adore the way you have displayed it and your kitchen looks amazing!!
I envy, envy this! I don't have space to store a collection like this, but I do have some Pyrex: in avocado, and the same print as your green ones. So pretty!
There is nothing cheerier than the colors and patterns of Pyrex. I've discarded all plastic containers from my kitchen. Leftovers are safely kept in Pyrex, and they're wonderful for baking and microwaving. The pastry display case brings back WWII memories of being treated to pie at 5&10 lunch counters when my daddy was in the Navy. Do I spy a jadeite mixing bowl up on top, sitting in a mixer, maybe an old Sunbeam?
I surely do love your wonderful collections, Danielle - many of the same things are in my home!

I can't believe that I have not ran across your blog before. Wow, I love your pyrex collection. I have just started collecting. I love the way you have them displayed! I found a pink set with the leaves and a striped pink set. I don't have pink in my kitchen, but they were too cute to pass up. I will display them for the Spring months. I have a link party, Share Your Cup Thursday. I would love if you would share this or another post.
Hugs,
Jann
