Have you ever really thought about
the words on office stamps?
Couldn't they possibly describe the way
one feels on any given day?
I found this cutie pie stamp holder
complete with stamps.
I would like to think
we all deserve to have some
special handling, don't you agree?
Lately, I have read on quite
a few blogs that being happy
all the time on our blogs isn't authentic.
I don't know about you, but I would
rather see the glass half full.
How may I say this gently?
I am a happy person
and I don't mind sharing
and spreading some love.
I naturally look for the beauty
in people, places and things.
Sadly there is enough negativity
and sadness in the world.
What is wrong with sharing some happiness?
Do we really need some more drama
in our lives?
Yes there are days when I am feeling
discouraged
sad
lonely
defeated
I am human after all.
The blogging community is great.
I see bloggers lifting each other
up and praying for one another
day after day.
This is all good.
Personally, I just don't think
that everyone wants to be
deluged with too much of
the "heavy stuff".
I choose to focus on the positive.
That is just me.
I am not "faking it".
I am not pretending to be
someone I am not, nor do I
proclaim to be perfect or have
a perfect life.
If I happen to feel happy
please just let me be.
When someone comes for a visit here
I want them to feel loved
and sometimes I just want them
to see something pretty.
It is my blog after all,
so I should be able to post
anyway that I would like.
I don't do glass half empty very well.
I am not that way in my "real" life
and I shouldn't have to change for my blog.
I am not judging those who
share deeply on their blogs
and put themselves out there
with what is going on
in their lives. I applaud
their honesty and vulnerability.
I just don't want to be
judged for wanting to share the
way I want to share on my blog.
So please tell me. . .
What is wrong with happy?
I thank you for letting me share.
xo,
Danielle
