Tree of Shoes - The Adventure Continues

We are on our way and on the road to Arizona.  The bad thing about driving a Uhaul truck plus towing a car behind is you can't just stop anywhere to park.  I saw lots of neat looking antique and junk stores today but sadly can't stop, and no place to put another thing anyway.  But when my husband spotted this tree I yelled "STOP THE TRUCK!!"

In the Middle of nowhere is this tree chock full of shoes.

What a sight this was.

I googled tree with shoes and found out that "shoe trees" are a phenomenon that are popping up in lots of places,  who knew?  Not me, but maybe you already knew. It reminded me of a scene in one of my favorite movies "Big Fish".

We are exhausted and have another two full days of driving to look forward to.

And it's been a cozy ride too.

Spreading our Wings

Soon my hubby and I will

be flying out of Oregon

on the wings

of this beautiful butterfly,

and moving back to Arizona.

Lots to pack yet.

 I think I'm going to sleep

really good tonight.

At least we have a pretty truck

and I learned a little about butterflies.

I hope to post a little on our road trip.
