I found a little bag of these today.

And what else did I find?

This cute red and white twine, perfect for Valentines day.  Found it at the dollar store.

Lately I have been wishing for a new modern skinny flatscreen TV.  I am probably one of the last ones out there to get on the bus and throw out that old big fat outdated television.   And while I'm dreaming about my new TV,
I'll need to look at

TV stands for flat screens.

I had no idea that there were vintage inspired, cottagey and cute furniture quality pieces out there.

Studio part 3

The tour continues . . . . .

I found this filing drawers piece at an estate sale for very little money.  It originally came from a local Sam Hill hardware store.

It needs a lot of work love but I will fix it up eventually.

Every drawer is lined with these wonderful dated records.

This picture is special to me.

 The little girl is my grandmother.

 Also pictured is my great grandma and great-great grandma.

I love chandeliers and try to put one where ever I can.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate each and every one of you, my followers friends.  I have gotten to know some of you and really do love you.  Thank you friends and thank you to all my newest friends.  I appreciate you too.  You all ROCK!  This whole blogging thing has been so much fun for me.  There are other like minded people out there that just get me and just get the whole thrifting/junking/crafting/etc.etc.

Here's a closer look

Know what these little beasts are?

They run in family packs.

Their favorite treat is tulip bulbs (and I sadly have no more tulips in the front yard).

They can be destructive and agressive.

They are called Javelinas

pronounced (have-a-leena)

a type of wild boar.

Only a face a mother could love?

I still think they are cute.

My Studio

So many of you suggested I call my creative zone my "studio"

so I think I will.

 Welcome to my studio.

One of my favorite things in my studio is this funky shadow box table that I created out of an antique five panel door.

I used to have this door as my headboard.  The wheels are always turning in my head.  I imagined it as a table.  I cut out the three middle panels of the door and my husband built a drawer for the shadowbox effect.  I found the curvy metal legs at Ikea and had a piece of glass cut for the top.

What I ended up with is a

one-of-a-kind table that I can change out the inside treasures on a whim.

White Inspiration

I thought I would show you a few things around my craft room, or should I say "studio"?  What would you call "the room where you spend hours and make stuff" room?  Somehow studio sounds so much more sophisticated.  Anyway, here is some stuff from the room in which I create in.
