This Little Light of Mine

This little light of mine . . .

I'm gonna let it shine!

Ellen over at Abounding Life has honored me with an award.

This award is about shining your light without boasting...
for being a prayer buddy without asking...
for going the extra mile to hug someone with your words...
it is for those who inspire faith,  hope and love in their posts...
there are no rules to this...
no lengthy protocol...
all you have to do to accept this award is copy and paste it to your blog...
there is no minimum or maximum number you have to pass it on to...
you don't have to pass it on to anyone...
and you can pass it on to everyone...
its up to you...
who inspires you?
who has touched your heart?
and you can pass this award onto anyone anytime...
if you run across a blog that you find later...
pass it on then...
so many of you have touched my heart and lifted my soul...

I was so honored that Ellen thought of passing it along to me.  Thank you Ellen.  If you know Ellen then you know that she has such a sweet soul and a love for Jesus.  Her light shines brightly.  I hope that you will visit her beautiful blog and say hello.

I come across many lovely blogs who openly spread the love of Christ and are never afraid to ask for prayer or would be the first ones to offer prayer to anyone, even for those they may have never met.  These individuals wear their hearts on their sleeve and inspire and encourage others. You never know how your words may bless someone or how an act of compassion can give hope. You never know how your actions can positively affect someone, or how a hug or a smile may touch someone deeply. You may never know how your encouragement to others can change lives. You may never know how an act of random kindness may make a huge impact on someone's life, or how your prayer can make a difference.  These simple acts of love
DO make a difference my dear friends and they never go unnoticed.
Thank you dear blog friends for making a difference in MY life.

In no particular order I would love to pass this award to the following ladies who have inspired and touched my heart.

Keep your lights shining brightly!
Spread your light around!

xo,
Danielle

You deserve this lovely award; it caught my attention because when I chose a word to guide me this year I chose "shine." When we shine, the light grows. Well done, Danielle.

Thank you so much, I appreciate this so much as we do need encouragement now and then. It is always encouraging when someone can see Jesus shine through. I often think that Rebecca shines through way too much instead of Jesus. I give the glory to Him, because it is His work in me that you see, for I can do nothing without Christ.
Blessings to you my friend
Rebecca

Danielle,

You truly are a light shining forth and for that I'm continually thankful for. Your humility and sincerity is positively inspiring, a real reflection of Daddy's love in you and through you. Shine on Sister, shine on!
