 Yes they are missing a stone or a pearl here or there but that is ok with me.

Let it Snow

We haven't had any snow this December so I thought I'd create a little snow.

Remember cutting out paper snowflakes?  I used little paper doilies for mine.

I taped them to the inside of my kitchen cupboard cabinets

for a little instant snow storm

of lacy little snowflakes.

I found this vintage Santa pitcher and mugs while thrifting yesterday.

Easy peasy, pretty, and inexpensive.

Sky at Dusk

Just wanted to share with you some beauty I witnessed lately.  I stepped outside my house and the sky literally took my breath away!  So I ran and got my camera and snapped these pictures to share with you.

The colors are from God's own palette. 

I  thank God that I can appreciate such beauty with my eyes and keep it forever in my heart.

Holy Family Tapestry

On a recent junk adventure I came across this beautiful tapestry of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.  It had a few tattered edges but was beautiful regardless.

I knew I wanted to frame this so I was on the hunt for a cheap affordable frame.

I found this almost perfect sized frame at the thrift.  I couldn't wait to cover this horrible interesting stitchery.

So I gathered up some lace and pearls and my glue gun and started assembling my picture. Remember you can click on the picture to enlarge the image.

It is now hanging above my mantle.
